    Below, catch 13 fight announcements even the most avid UFC and Bellator fan may have missed last week, including the return of a former interim lightweight champion and fan-favorite, a pair of massive Bellator title fights, and a quickfire return to action for recent event headliner and former middleweight champion.

    Gunnar Nelson vs. Takashi Sato – UFC London – March 19.

    Welterweights meet at UFC London this weekend, as Gunnar Nelson retains his return for the first time since UFC Fight Night Copenhagen in 2019, drawing short-notice replacement, Takashi Sato. Replacing an injured Claudio Silva, Sato last dropped a submission defeat to Miguel Baeza.

    Damir Hadzovic vs. Steve Garcia – UFC Vegas 52 – April 23.

    Damir Hadzovic looks to improve on an impressive win over Yancy Medeiros back in June of last year at UFC Vegas 52 on April 23. as he draws, Steve Garcia – who nabbed his first UFC back in October with a victory over Charlie Ontiveros. 

    Silvana Gomez Juarez vs. Na Liang – UFC 275 – June 11.

    Argentina native, Silvana Gomez Juarez looks to rebound from a rallying loss to Vanessa Demopolos as she returns at UFC 275 on June 11. – taking on the 12-5 Na Liang who herself was defeated by Ariane Carnelossi in her last outing.

    Sergio Pettis vs. Raufeon Stots – Bellator 279 – April 23.

    In the opening round of the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix, defending division champion, Sergio Pettis meets with Raufeon Stots. Pettis successfully defended the title back in December with a stunning knockout win over Kyoji Horiguchi, while Stots landed another win with a decision triumph over Magomed Magomedov.

    Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Patchy Mix – Bellator 279 – April 23.

    Another opening round bracket of the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix sees former champion, Kyoji Horiguchi draw the streaking, Patchy Mix on the same card as Pettis’ bout with Stots. For Mix, the recent Xtreme Couture mover landed a November guillotine win over fellow Grand Prix feature, James Gallagher. 

    Cris Cyborg vs. Arlene Blencowe II – Bellator 279 – April 23.

    In a championship rematch of their October 2020 pairing, defending featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg tackles New South Wales native, Arlene Blencowe on a stacked card in Hawaii. Cyborg’s most recent win came in a knockout win against Sinead Kavanagh in December, while Blencowe bested Pam Sorenson in November.

    Michael Chandler vs. Tony Ferguson – UFC 274 – May 7.

    Adding to an impressive UFC 274 card, a pairing of one-time title challenger, Michael Chandler, and former interim lightweight titleholder, Tony Ferguson. Chandler last lost a decision against Justin Gaethje, while Ferguson has tasted defeat in his last three consecutively – most recently in a May loss to Beneil Dariush. 

    Rob Font vs. Marlon Vera – UFC Vegas 53 – April 30.

    A high-stakes bantamweight main event is on deck for UFC Vegas 53 on April 30. as Rob Font returns from a December loss to Jose Aldo, taking on Ecuadorian contender, Marlon Vera who last defeated Frankie Edgar with a UFC 268 front kick knockout in November.

    Alatengheili vs. Kevin Croom – UFC Vegas 51 – April 16.

    Looking to snap a run of two fights without a win, Alatengheili most recent fought to a unanimous draw against UFC alum, Gustavo Lopez, while Kevin Croom dropped his second straight loss in January in a decision defeat against Brian Kelleher. 

    Nathaniel Wood vs. Vince Morales – UFC London – March 19.

    Replacing Liudvik Sholinian who is set to remain in Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict, Vince Morales tackles Nathaniel Wood on short notice at UFC London this weekend. Morales last landed a knockout win over Louis Smolka, while Wood has yet to feature since an October 2020 loss to Casey Kenney.

    Robert Whittaker vs. Marvin Vettori – UFC 275 – June 11.

    Former undisputed middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker makes a somewhat hasty return on June 11. at UFC 275 – drawing Trento native, Marvin Vettori. Whittaker returns following a second career loss to Israel Adesanya back in February, while Vettori defeated Paulo Costa at the light heavyweight limit back in November.

    Tracy Cortez vs. Melissa Gato – UFC 274 – May 7.

    The promotional perfect, Tracy Cortez returns following an April victory over Justine Kish as she tackles the undefeated Brazilian prospect, Melissa Gato at UFC 274 on May 7. Gatto has managed eight career wins, most recently besting Sijara Eubanks. 

    Jailton Almeida vs. Maxim Grishin – UFC Vegas 55 – May 21.

    Brazilian prospect, Jailton Almeida looks to improve on his debut victory over Danilo Marques as he meets recent UFC 272 victor, Maxim Grishin at UFC Vegas 55 on May 21. Grishin’s managed a win over William Knight at the pay-per-view event earlier this month.
