New video footage obtained from the September 25. last arrest of former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones in Las Vegas, Nevada, shows the Rochester native headbutt a responding police cruiser, as well as urging a police officer to hang him, and kill him.

Jon Jones, a former two-time undisputed light heavyweight champion under the UFC’s banner, was arrested and charged with battery domestic violence as well as injuring or tampering with a vehicle on September 25. last in Las Vegas, Nevada – following his induction to the UFC Hall of Fame Fight Wing earlier that night.

Jones eventually reached a plea deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty to destroying the property of another, and was issued a fine in the region of $25 to $250 as a result.

Jones also paid a sum of $750 in restitution to the victim of the damaged property, and was instructed to attend anger management counselling, as well as ordered to “stay out of trouble”.

Responding officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Jones near the grounds of The Mirage hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada – with footage obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal detailing an almost five-minute interaction between Jones and multiple responding officers.

In the initial seconds of the video, a responding officer asks Jones, who is handcuffed and lying across the hood of a police cruiser, if he was carrying identification.

The irate and emotional Rochester native then called one of the responding officers a “nerd” – accusing him of “humiliating” him on his “Hall of Fame night”.

Jones is then informed by officers that he can freely stand up rather than lie across the hood of the vehicle, after claiming the situation was “embarrassing” and how he was just “walking down the street” before he was arrested.

Lying across the hood of the vehicle again, Jones, who is very emotional by this stage, repeatedly tells a responding officer “I hate you, I f*cking hate you!” – as well as calling him a “f*cking nerd” and urging him to speak his name publicly.

Jones maintains that the officers had “hurt” him on his “Hall of Fame night”, claiming the reasoning was because he was “big and black” before he once again questions why he was arrested.

A responding officer then asks Jones if his Hall of Fame induction had taken place at a casino, before the latter insists he would not be answering his questions, before making an inaudible statement that drew a reaction from several officers.

Jones becomes irate and begins jumping the air, lying across the hood of the vehicle again, and tells an officer he hates him, before headbutting the police cruiser’s hood.

Quickly, a trio of officers restrain Jones and escort him around the vehicle to the backseat of the police cruiser, as Jones says, “please don’t, guys, I didn’t do nothing”.

As an officer attempts to get Jones to comply, he informs the former champion that he was “stupid” for headbutting the vehicle’s hood as his actions had been recorded on bodycam footage, before urging him to “chill out”.

Jones proceeds to ask the officer to wind down the window of the police cruiser, detailing how he suffers from anxiety, as the officer says, “we’ll get this figured out, man, but you gotta calm down”, with Jones replying, “yes, sir”.

The almost five-minute-long video ends with two responding officers assessing the damage Jones caused to the vehicle’s hood, with one officer proclaiming, “he (Jon Jones) ripped the paint and everything off”.
