A high-stakes potential bantamweight title-eliminator between former division champion, the #2 ranked contender, Holly ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ Holm and the #6 ranked challenger, Ketlen ‘Fenomeno’ Vieira is currently in the works to headline UFC Fight Night 210 on May 21. – with a location or venue for the event yet to be determined by the promotion.

Albuquerque veteran, Holm last featured in October 2020 in the main event of UFC Fight Island 4 – taking home a unanimous decision win against common-opponent, Irene Aldana over the course of five rounds.

For Vieira, the Manaus native most recently headlined UFC Vegas 43 in November against common-foe, former bantamweight titleholder, Miesha Tate – taking home a largely one-sided unanimous decision win. News of Holm’s targeted main event bout with Vieira was first reported by Ariel Helwani.

Extending her winning spree to two straight fights off the back of her judging win against Aldana, Holm had previously landed a unanimous decision win over one-time bantamweight title challenger, Raquel Pennington.

Most famously landing the undisputed bantamweight championship in November 2015 at UFC 193, Holm scored one of the biggest betting underdog wins in the sport’s history when she stopped the then-undefeated defending champion, Ronda Rousey with a second round high-kick knockout in Melbourne, Australia.

Establishing a 4-5 promotional record in nine fights under the UFC’s banner since, Holm has managed to stop Bethe Correia with another patented high kick, whilst handing former Invicta FC featherweight champion and one-time UFC featherweight title chaser, Megan Anderson a unanimous decision loss.

12-2 as a professional, Vieira has featured eight times under the UFC’s banner since her transition to the promotion back in 2016.

Embarking on a four-fight winning run to begin her run, Vieira bested Kelly Faszholz, Ashlee Evans-Smith, as well as former title challenges, Sara McMann, and Cat Zingano.

In her first professional loss, the Brazilian dropped a massive first round knockout loss to the above mentioned, Aldana at UFC 245 in December 2019. Briefly returning to the winner’s enclosure, Holm defeated Sijara Eubanks, before suffering a loss against Yana Kunitskaya before her decision win over Tate.
