Top-15 UFC middleweight contenders, the #9 ranked striking veteran, Uriah Hall, and the #13 rated, Andre Muniz is currently targeted to land at a UFC Fight Night event on April 16. At the time of publication, the promotion are yet to officially book a location or venue for the event. Contracts for Hall’s return against Muniz have yet to be finalized, however, both middleweights have agreed to the bout.

Seeing his impressive four-fight winning run halted back in July at UFC Vegas 33, Hall dropped a main event clash against upcoming main event feature, Sean Strickland by unanimous decision.

31-year-old Brazilian grappling standout, Muniz has so far lodged a four-fight winning run since his organizational bow back in November 2019. Most recently, Muniz remained on the UFC 269 card in December following a shelved bout against Dricus du Plessis – stopping Eryk Anders with his staggering fifteenth submission victory win. Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting was first to report the targeted bout.

Hall, a finalist of The Ultimate Fighter 17 – had enjoyed a four-fight winning spree prior to his judging loss to Strickland last summer.

Featuring against former undisputed middleweight best, Chris Weidman back in April at UFC 261, Hall managed to take home a 17-second TKO win, after Weidman suffered a fractured tibia and fibula after he saw an early leg kick checked.

Headlining an October 2020 Fight Night event against former middleweight kingpin, Anderson Silva, Hall stopped the Brazilian with fourth round strikes. Hall also holds a split decision success against recent PFL light heavyweight tournament winner, Antonio Carlos Junior.

For Muniz, the grappling sensation boasts a 22-4 professional record, stopping Bartosz Fabinski with an armbar win following a unanimous judging success against Antonio Arroyo in his promotional bow.
