Uber-prospect, Muhammad Mokaev has booked his UFC bow following his recent signing with the organization — clashing with fellow flyweight, Cody Durden on March 19. The event, billed as a Fight Night has yet to secure an official venue or location. However, the promotion is targeting an O2 Arena landing pad in London, England for the showcase.

Undefeated as a professional mixed martial artist, Brave CF alum, Mokaev improved to 5-0 professionally back in September at Brave CF 54 — stopping Bellator MMA and Cage Warriors alum, Blaine O’Driscoll with a second round rear-naked choke.

For Durden, the Georgia native improved to 12-3-1 back in November at UFC Vegas 43, defeating Aoriqileng with a unanimous decision win. Durden received mass criticism following his victory, after he claimed he had sent Aoriqileng “back to China where he came from“. MMA Junkie reporters, Nolan King, Farah Hannoun, and John Morgan were first to report the matchup.

Mokaev, an IMMAF standout, and former multiple-time champion, rose through the sport clinching an incredibly dominant 30-0 amateur record prior to his professional debut back in August of last year under the Brave CF banner in Bahrain. Taking four wins under the Middle Eastern promotion’s banner, Mokaev defeated Glenn McVeigh, Jamie Kelly, Abdul Hussein, and the aforenoted, Dubliner, O’Driscoll.

A three-fight UFC alum, Durden managed to lodge his first promotional victory last month with his unanimous judging win against Aoriqileng.

In his promotional debut back in August of last year, Durden fought to a unanimous draw against Chris Gutierrez, before suffering a spectacular first round flying triangle submission defeat to the now-retired, Jimmy flick at UFC Vegas 17 in December of last year.
