Tony Ferguson says he is not retiring: “Now I’m pissed.”

Tony Ferguson is in the midst of the biggest losing streak of his career. Last weekend, he officially gone from a twelve fight win streak, to a three fight losing streak, at the hands of Beneil Dariush.

After which, fans and others around the organization weren’t sure on ‘El Cucuy’ and his future in the UFC. Given that he has not won a round in his last three fights, questions of retirement were asked of him. Those questions were even asked of UFC President, Dana White, who commented after:

“He had a tough night, I don’t know. We’ll see what happens,” Dana White told Oscar Willis.

Tony Ferguson wasn’t interviewed after his loss, but has now broken his silence via Twitter, where he states that he will not be retiring:

“It Ain’t Over Yet Mcgavin’, The Way I See It … We’ve Only Just Begun…” Ferguson wrote.

“Retire & Give These MF’s A Break!? No, Not On My Watch. Now I’m Pissed. Thank you Hardcore For Picking Me Up When I Was Down – Champ #FindingMyHappyPlace”

It looks like we’ll see Tony Ferguson back inside the octagon again and maybe even before the year is up. However, his UFC ranking has only dropped to #6, so he likely won’t be getting any favors from the matchmakers.
