Last night was the final UFC event of the year. Headlined by Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson taking on Geoff Neal and accompanied by Jose Aldo taking on Marlon Vera.
The former Featherweight Champion got back to winning ways, after previously suffering three straight losses. He did so, by defeating Marlon Vera who was coming off a win over rising star, Sean O’Malley.
Afterward, Daniel Cormier asked Aldo what was next for him. Aldo responded by calling out former Bantamweight Champion, TJ Dillashaw. TJ is currently serving a two year USADA suspension, after testing positive for EPO. However, his suspension ends next month, and there is speculation as to where he fits back into the division that he once ruled.
“As far as the next fight,” as translated for Aldo. “It would be Dillashaw. I’ve been talking about him a lot. Hey Dana, make it happen.”
