Mike Perry is one of the most infamous characters in the UFC. Despite holding wins over the likes of Paul Felder and Alex Oliveira, his actions outside of the cage have dominated the headlines in recent years.
Perry is coming off a decision loss to Tim Means at UFC 255. A fight which he missed weight for, after posting videos eating pizzas and burgers on social media. Since then, questions were asked as to whether the promotion would cut him, but Dana White most recently stated that he is an exciting fighter and he had no plans to release him.
‘Platinum’ has taken to Twitter to break down his feelings towards his current situation. Stating that he is currently being taken advantage of and that he has signed his life over.
As the real fighter that I am I get taken advantage of for being just a dumb fighter I like to fight so that’s my curse the businessman and company men might take advantage of guys like me sometimes and I’m not some YouTube sensation with followers and I don’t know the numbers— Platinum Mike Perry (@PlatinumPerry) December 10, 2020
Thats where I have gained somewhat of a following get paid decent because of my management and I fight anybody whenever they ask. My life is not my own I signed it over and have to work extremely hard to make ends meet I don’t always win but I am one of the realest on the planet— Platinum Mike Perry (@PlatinumPerry) December 10, 2020
