Henry Cejudo goes by the name of “Triple C”. This is on account of him capturing the UFC Flyweight title, as well as the Bantamweight title and an Olympic Gold Medal. However, he is currently retired from MMA and relinquished his titles earlier in the year.
However, Cejudo has since teased a return, and most do not believe he has truly retired. Instead, he appears to be waiting for the right fight, along with the right paycheck, to get him back in the game.
Appearing on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, the now Flyweight Champion, Deiveson Figueiredo was asked whether he would rather face Cody Garbrandt or Henry Cejudo next. His translator responded by saying he wants to shut Henry Cejudo up.
Hey @Cody_Nolove wait in line! Looks like the #rentschamp still misses me more.❤️@Daico_Deiveson if you can tell me in English I may consider it. But until then, go get hooked on phonics. #4everTripleC #bendtheknee 🏆🏆🏆 https://t.co/xvPLv6FYvZ

“Hey [Cody Gardbrandt] wait in line!” Cejudo responded. “Looks like the rents champ still misses me more. [Deiveson] if you can tell me in English I may consider it. But until then, go get hooked on phonics.”
Deiveson Figueiredo defends his Flyweight title this weekend against Brandon Moreno at UFC 256.
