The beef between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya should be no secret by now. The two have been going back and forth for a number of years now, and it recently reached new heights after Adesanya’s latest title defence.
My pops already told me how I’d beat you. Trust me he knows.

Your mom would be disappointed in who you’ve become. https://t.co/CGGykYXSNn
To say the two have exchanged a lot of words across Twitter would be an understatement, and it’d be difficult to catch up. But one things for sure, the two want to fight each other and Adesanya plans on doing so in July [international fight week].

Earlier in the year, Jon Jones vacated the 205lbs title, after expressing an interest in moving up to Heavyweight and capturing another belt. This led to Dominic Reyes and Jan Blachowicz fighting for the vacant title, which saw Blachowicz become Champion.
In his first title defence, Dana White recently confirmed that Jan Blachowicz will face the current UFC Middleweight Champion, Israel Adesanya. This means that as Jon Jones is leaving the 205lbs division, Israel Adesanya is entering it.
Last night at UFC Vegas 13, two 205lbs top contenders faced off in the main event, for what could’ve been a chance at the next title shot. Glover Teixeira won by Submission, and it didn’t take Jones long to chime in.
Somebody give the man his shot

This essentially is Jones’ saying that Adesanya shouldn’t be getting a crack at the 205lbs title and instead, the opportunity should go to someone else [Glover Teixeira].
Israel Adesanya hasn’t acknowledged the comment yet, but we can probably expect some brand new Twitter beef any minute now.
